So after 10+ years in the Denver, CO area we're relocating to Portland, OR. We'll be moving to the Kenton Park area.

I'm going to be leaving my mare at my current barn (that I LOVE) until I can figure out the best place to move her.

I have come here with a ton of problems I have had finding a decent stable to ride/show for. The ending agreement from everyone was to just leave them all together--and I did!

So, I might be moving to Lexington, KY (or maybe Winchester?) and I was curious if anyone on here lives there and can help recommend barns around the area.  I have two horses.

ETA: One mare is retired, and the other is semi-retired (ie, light riding)- so I'm not looking for a training or showing barn. Any info on the area would help! :)

I had the amazingly fun opportunity to take my mare, Andie, to a winter games event yesterday benefiting our local horse rescue, Pony Up. I don't have a trailer, so being able to participate in things like this is pretty rare for me. I will be moving from the midwest t upstate New York in about a month.  Does anyone have any recommendations for barns to board at?  I have two geldings and I do some jumping and dressage (I was an eventer in my high school and college years).  Ideally I'd board around Geneseo, NY, but I'd be willing to go to the south side of Rochester as well.
